Texas Health Surgery Center Midtown was hands down the best service I could've received for my bunion surgery. Just left the surgery center feeling well enough to even type this review! I forgot the name of the front desk lady who helped me get checked in, but I believe it starts with an M. She was super kind and helpful. My pre-op nurse, Kimmy, had the BEST bedside manners! She is clearly very compassionate and reassuring to her patients. Additionally, Tammy and Clay—who led me to the operating room were super nice and seemed to truly care about their patients safety. Dr. McAdams, the anesthesiologist, was soooo supportive and kind. You can tell he truly loves his job, which is definitely important in the medical field! Lastly, the nurse who took care of me post op had the best, most warming aftercare I’ve ever seen! Wish I could remember her name but since I had just woken up from sedation I can’t recall. Overall— this surgery center is top notch! Thank you!🩷

I have had three positive experiences at this facility with two in just the last three weeks. My Ophthalmic Surgeon uses this facility and I found it to be excellent. The managing staff is professional and friendly, the nurses and technicians are top quality and the building is clean and well maintained. Just what you expect to find in a "Texas Health" facility. Highly recommended.

Had surgery last week and everyone was great from the front desk to the discharge nurse. The anesthesiologist, Dr. McAdams was great!! Very thorough exam prior to my surgery. Kimmy, my nurse that checked me in was very friendly and eased my mind prior to surgery. I’m a nurse and was really impressed with the care I received.

Rude people!! Watch out for the billing and insurance coordinators, very rude. The window people seem like unhappy to be there. The insurance coordinators, or billing representatives of this center have no customers service skills ,and doesn’t respect patients. They lie about phone calls made out or received to the center, never call you back! At one point they hang up on you and the insurance company if asked about charges, or when they get questioned about bills. Even if you want to pay them, they don’t know how to add numbers together. kept asking them about a refund that they promised and said they owed me but now they are telling me different numbers and I owed them money. Luckily the phone call was recorded so they can’t deny it! They double dipped their hands from the insurance and the patient. Beware!!!!! Let’s see if the management on this place care about their patients and take some accountability!

The surgery process was wonderful. Very attentive and efficient. The process of filling out the pre op paperwork however needs some technical assistance. So far I have received 6 requests to fill this out. I did it the first time.
