I have bee going here for years and have always had a pleasant experience. Everyone is really nice and professional. They always answer all of my questions and make sure I understand what they are telling me. I highly recommend Dr Holnbeck, she is awesome!
The technician who ran my tests was incredibly helpful and capable and throughout with every aspect. Dr Katie was very knowledgeable and patient and put me at ease and gained my trust. The woman at the front desk who helped me pay my bill was very helpful and completely friendly with giving me directions back to 275. Overall incredible experience.
Went to Midwest Eye Center today for Binocular Double Vision problems. The nurses and staff were all very nice and sweet. Then saw Dr Philip Kies. This man is not nice at all. Basically told me there were no nerve problems and that I could keep doing as I'm doing and deal with double vision anytime I have it(a daily problem that gives me headaches) or get new glasses with a small prism in them. Very rude and dry old man that in my opinion should retire as he has the absolute WORST bedside manner. Will definitely be going to another eye doctor for a second opinion as a person shouldn't have to deal with what I am going through. Also, they made no mention of having to dialating my pupils and to have someone come with me to drive me home. I had to drive home with one eye closed and drive slower than the speed limit because my vision was all screwed up. Had I gotten into an accident, I would definitely be suing them for the lack of telling me to have a driver with me. Don't recommend Midwest to anyone! Would have given one star if the other people working there weren't as nice as they were.
The Eastgate Midwest Eye Center employees are always friendly and considerate. Within my visit, I had interactions with six employees and they were all great! I had a white spot show up in my eye that lasted about 4 weeks. They were very thorough and checked every aspect of my eyes. I highly recommend the Eastgate office.
When they took care of my autoimmune disease, that cost the sight in my right eye, they were so knowledgeable and caring. They called on weekends to see how I was doing. They also took wonderful care of my cataracts. Made it as easy as possible since I only have the one eye.
