I had cataract surgery on both eyes, one eye in November and the other 4 weeks later, in December. The process is a very combersome and slow, impersonal assembly line. Each of the 6 plus visits (for both eyes) required 3 to 5 hours of which most of the time was spent waiting to see a technician or Doctor. I'm aware this is a serious and delicate surgery but the process is not patient friendly. I was disappointed in the results compared to what I was led to expect from the technicians. Fortunately my optometrist, Dr. Liette, was able to provide glasses that have restored my vision to a point that I could not be more pleased. The end result is great but I caution you to be prepared for the ordeal and have a optometrist like Dr. Liette to get your vision to 20/20.

I had an excellent experience surrounding my recent Urgent Care eye appointment with the team at CEI Urgent Care in Blue Ash. The entire staff, including reception, nursing, and doctors were highly professional, friendly, and provided state-of-the-art care. 5 stars plus!

Actually didn't have to wait long. Blue Ash office. And the front office staff were very nice. However, they didn't do a great job numbing my eye and didn't seem too concerned about it. Didn't really explain what caused my issue or how to care for it afterward. Handed me a piece of paper. Very short responses to my questions. I understand it's probably not a big deal to them since they see it every day, but to me, the patient, it's a big deal. Having an injection in your eyelid isn't an every day occurance for most people. Their bedside manner is terrible. They make you feel like you're intruding. So yes, they fixed my issue, but it was very painful and they they acted like they couldn't get me out fast enough. Not pleasant at all.

Flew to Cincinnati to CEI from Maine for cataract removal. My husband has a very rare eye condition which makes it difficult to have a cataract removed. Nanothalma. His left eye had been done in Boston 4 years back. Not the best result. So we sought a different surgeon to do his right eye. We found Dr. Snyder through our glaucoma specialist in Portland Maine. I wish I could tell you the whole story as there were some setbacks on our part once we got down there. Nothing to do with Dr. Snyder or CEI. We were greeted at the desk first off. They are the frontline people and we got a good feeling when we came into the practice. Special shout out to Amber at the front desk. She has the gift of listening and following procedure. Just loved her. Everyone that was involved took care of us. I can’t begin to tell you about the professionalism, dedication and kindness that was expressed to us. Prior to seeing Dr. Snyder an assistant comes in and does preliminary work to prepare for Dr. Snyder. He takes that info and continues the assessment. His actual time with you is sufficient if one thinks about that. Dr. Snyder knows what he is doing, gives you the info, makes sure you understand and is on to the next patient and that’s what I need him to do for us and for others that need his care. Tells us to call if there are any problems. He gave my husband back his sight. That’s all I care about. His life will be better. Our deepest appreciation to them all. Phenomenal team of people.

Worst experience with doctors I've had. Currently still going through the same medical issue and CEI's complete lack of communication, diagnosis, and any semblance of what someone would describe as "medical care" really just made the experience that much worse. Ever single instance where I received information regarding my condition was because I called them and begged to get information, timelines, next steps, etc. If i was as bad at my job as they are, i would have been fired years ago.
