Very positive efficient experience! First healthcare system I’ve been to without all the yuk yuk yuk. Quick registration quick CT. The best part of it all is that Johns Hopkins UNDERSTANDS that most people WORK M-F 9am-5pm and they offer evening and weekend appointments! Touché JH. Pay attention Sentara Riverside and Bon Secours!

Went for MRI there. Got very positive experience. Very quick and efficient visit, minimum time wasted on unnecessary conversations and filling useless forms. The staff was polite and friendly. The results were available next day and sent to my email inbox. The opportunity to do all paper work in advance online was quite helpful and highly recommended. The online forms were user friendly and saved me a lot of time. The only warning: if you are coming there for the 1st time, plan to arrive in advance -- the situation with the parking is difficult, and the availability of parking garage is not obvious (it is a semi-hidden feature). Moreover, the entire block of similar buildings is populated with numerous health providers and these buildings have a convoluted addressing system. It might be not easy to find your way around if you a new comer and distracted by your own health issues.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving care at John Hopkins Surgery Center Bethesda, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The bedside manner was exceptional—everyone I encountered, from the receptionists to the specialists, was kind, respectful, and made me feel like I was in capable hands with Yessica, Theresa and Wendy. The facilities were clean and well-equipped, making for a comfortable and reassuring environment during what could have been a stressful time. The only issue is that I had an appointment time of 6 am . I like to arrive early but I had to wait for the building to open to enter at 6:00 am. But this was communicated to me prior to my appointment.

This clinic and everything else associated with JHU Hospital and clinic throughout Baltimore and Washington area has one of the WORST customer service. These folks are offering service level which lacks consideration, compassion and a slightest modicum of customer/patient service. I made the mistake of reaching out to their audiology group and have been most frustrated. I am SURE it is the same scenario with all other groups within the so called JHU clinic in Baltimore/Washington/Rockville region. When you call their appointment line or so called patient portal line, you go through an array of computer generated options and have to wait at least half-hour or longer to speak to someone for a basic follow-up appointment. It is my opinion that JHU Clinics have nothing to do with Hopkins University, by far one of the best centers of learning. The Clinics are run by a bunch of business-commercial minded managers who are only interested in the bottom line and NOT PATIENT CARE. Hopkins University (where my kids attended classes) should dissociate itself with this charade of so called health care which is not working.

Dr. Byam is amazing—very knowledgeable, professional, and has a great bedside manner. I had to bring my toddler to the appointment, and he was incredibly patient and helpful with her. On a plus side, the office was clean, the staff was friendly, and there was practically no wait time.
