Excellent staff and care. Medical staff was great. But their payment options suck. They accept only cashier's check (no personal checks), cash, or credit cards. If using a credit card, The Surgical Suites will impose a 3% surcharge ($50) to you for payment using a credit card. They will let you know the cost of lens on Friday afternoon when surgery is on Monday, making it difficult to get a cashier's check when my bank is an hour away. Should I bring in 1,617 in one dollar bills for my lens? They couldn't tell me how much my cashier's check should be, stating their schedule didn't come out yet. MD's office scheduled my surgery three days ago. Don't let their advertisement to bring your check with you. They mean cashier's check only. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. I commend their RNs and other professional staff. Good patient care. But billing practices unethical.

Hey You

This is my second cataract surgery at a different medical facility. The staff and nurses are very friendly and take excellent care of you, making me feel safe and comfortable during the surgery. They provide better care compared to the previous facility. They do not charge a surcharge for patients using credit cards, which they informed me about a few days before my surgery and again when I was there to pay my copay. The only thing I hope they offer for aftercare is an extra piece of eye shield and tape, so you have everything at home to tape the shield once you remove it to apply eye drops. Additionally, wrap-around sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun when leaving the facility would be appreciated, as these were provided by my previous facility for better aftercare.
