Eye Specialty Group made me feel so much better after being diagnosed with PVD. From my first visit, the front desk was so kind to everyone that waited on me. Dr. Wilcox made me feel at ease with her expertise. Dr. Coruthers did the actual surgery and he took the time to speak with me before the surgery. Great experience and I appreciate the kindness and the professionalism. I would like to recognize the staff, Dee, and the doctors at this location. Thank you.
Love my doctor Henry McQuirther and the entire staff they all are so professional. And the beautiful sweet spirit lady that makes the coffee. Best coffee in the world. Keep up the Great Work 🙏🏿🫶🏾🙏🏿
Excellent service . Dr Gallamudi is excellent. Cataract surgery done in 7 minutes . Didn’t have to wait too long before and was out of the clinic soon after . Going back in a month to get my other eye done . He also operated on my mother in law , brother in law and my medical practice associate. All had a similar excellent experiences.
I cannot say enough about the Eye Specialty Group! From the first visit to determine if I needed cataract surgery through several visits afterwards, everyone I met was very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this group for your eye care beyond the regular optometrist.
Yesterday, I presented for cataract surgery on my right eye. Prior to the procedure, I expressed a concern to Dr. Crothers, who recently performed surgery on my left eye. Unfortunately, I felt my concern was not addressed respectfully and that his response was dismissive. A nurse who was preparing me for surgery stated she would have anesthesia speak with Dr. Crothers regarding my concern, as I reported seeing black dots. I was later told that he was not in the clinic and that I should direct my concerns to Total Eye, which was confusing since he had performed my previous surgery. Additionally, my experience in the operating room was upsetting. The staff member who applied iodine to my eye spoke over me and was rude when I attempted to explain that my eye was burning. The burning sensation has continued, and as of this morning, my eye is still painful and irritated. This is especially concerning to me because there was no significant issue with my right eye prior to the procedure. The overall environment at Eye Specialty Group felt rushed and disorganized, and I did not feel that my comfort or concerns were a priority. The doctor and the nurse, whom I believe was the nurse anesthetist, were particularly unprofessional in their interactions with me. I have always been told that cataract surgery typically results in improved vision; however, that has not been my experience so far. I plan to visit Total Eye today to determine whether there is a problem with my eye. In hindsight, I regret not following my initial instinct to seek care at Toyos Eye Clinic, or at the VA, where my husband received excellent results and care. Comparatively, his outcome was far better than mine. With my birthday approaching in just a few days, this experience has been emotionally and physically distressing. I carry two insurance policies, and despite appropriate compensation for services rendered, the level of care I received was far below expectations. Overall, on January 15, 2026, the staff appeared rushed, unconcerned, and inattentive to patient well-being, which is unacceptable in a medical setting.
