I received a call tonight at 7:15pm just a 2 business days before I have surgery telling me that I need to pay a large copay before I have surgery. It would have been really helpful had I known this dinner to plan and prepare. I pay the copay to my surgeons office and didn’t realize I needed to pay for a facility fee! I have my FMLA approved and a driver and if I can’t make a payment plan I may have to reschedule this. I am at a loss of the inequality in this process. I have been going to providence for years and have had many surgeries and never have I had the process be like this especially for a large copay. It also says it’s an estimated fee amount!

Everyone was so pleasant and kind from the preop nurses to recovery nurses. I felt so relaxed and cared for the entire time. Great communication between doctors and nurses, I couldn’t have had a better experience.

I want to talk about the wonderful doctors, the best in the world, the fantastic service that has been provided to me, Portland Providence Plaza, Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC . Within a month, two operations were performed on different eyes.. . So it happened two years ago, my vision started to blur, then I stopped seeing in my eyes, I came to the Northwest Eye Health clinic in the spring of 2023, I was urgently provided with Daniel Holland !!! He looked at my eye and immediately prescribed me surgery , I waited 4 months.. . Coming to surgery at an eye clinic in the Clackamas area, the anesthesiologist found that my blood oxygen level had dropped to 83 and she did cancel my surgery . vision could disappear instantly and then reappear ... In 2025, as always in the spring, I again had a problem with my eyes, I again stopped seeing . This time, my eye clinic referred me to the Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC, Portland Providence Plaza ! I came in for surgery this morning, I was greeted by a very affable Pre OP team Stephanie, RN !!! She took my blood pressure: it showed 166/84 ! I went with a great risk for surgery, for my health condition, on my hand I put a fob: Fall Risk .Then Michael, RN Golden, came up to me, very affable, who sympathized with my unfortunate experience .I am so grateful to the first anesthesiologist, Raghavan Rahul ... just the biggest of mine and a low bow to him, the entire team that participated in preparing me for surgery . Especially want to emphasize my attending physician, who did me surgery, who was not afraid of my health problems and risked to help me, this is Dr. Daniel Holland !!! He conducted such a unique and fantastic operation, he is so talented, intelligent, a highly professional specialist in his field !!! The operation was very successful, without any consequences, I was so pleased with the anesthesiologist Raghavan Rahul that I did not feel any pain, Michael Golden, and such an excellent, wonderful Stephanie !!! I am so glad that I was given the best service of my life..! The second surgery occurred a month later in the same composition, only the other was an anesthesiologist, Dr. Bolton! I’m grateful and very grateful to him, too ! That he supported me during the operation, held my hand, that most importantly, I did not feel pain, I saw how much Dr. Daniel Holland concentrated and sure . My lowest and most sincere bow to the best doctor in the world !!! Two operations were carried out without consequences, pain . I am so glad that my doctor gave me the opportunity to see the world in colors and the opportunity to see at all, Every minute I say to him and his team: “Thank you so much for the fantastic service ! I'm very proud of you. !!! Tatyana Bouwman

Impeccably clean facility, super friendly pre-op and post op teams and head RN piped in Kendrick Lamar "They Not Like Us" before I drifted away. Suite 156 Ambulatory Surgery Center is a winner as they even sent me a Thank You card.

If you’re referred to this surgery center, I highly recommend calling ahead to ensure they verify your insurance coverage before you complete the intake process or schedule your procedure. In my experience, appointment confirmations do not guarantee that your insurance has been processed or approved. Unfortunately, this led to a significant issue for me. I had a surgery scheduled for over a month, with multiple confirmations from the center. I arranged time off work, and my designated driver did the same. Only three business days before the procedure, I received a call, not from the surgery center, but from my physician, informing me that the surgery center had canceled my appointment. The reason given was that the cost was too high for them to proceed, based on insurance reimbursement. While I understand the need to manage financial feasibility, this last-minute cancellation, after all paperwork was completed and time had been taken off, could have been avoided with earlier insurance verification. A simple check at the beginning would have saved a great deal of stress, time, and inconvenience for everyone involved.
