It is always a pleasure to visit the Carolina Digestive Disease and Endoscopy Center. The staff members are friendly and professional. My physician is Dr. Spencer Jenkins and he is the best! His bedside manner is exactly what I need to discuss my health concerns. He is an active listener and has a skill-set that provides trust and understanding. Special thanks to the entire practice for their excellence in care giving. Your practice and team are phenomenal!!!
I went for an appointment to see Dr Jenkins. He looked over my records and examined me Telling me that I should go back to the last doctor saying that he is not able to help me Then he recommended I see a doctor in a hospital. After waiting years hoping to find a gastroenterologist I broke down in tears. He told me that he could take some blood or cat scan me but that is it After processing I decided not to bother having blood tests or a cat scan. I told Dr Jenkins that I don’t trust the other specialist. I left his office in tears. I finally decided to stop all these doctor visits. I’m going to live my life as much as positive and to the fullest My advice my HO Is that if you seek a gastroenterologist specialist willing to go the extra mile do not go here.
Nice people! Clinic is clean but waiting room is small. Called day prior to ask if there is space to set-up laptop and work. Was told 'yes', but the space is not at all conducive to remote work. Otherwise, the visit was pleasant and the people were affable.
FRUSTRATED/EMBARRASSED. I am a patient of theirs (or was) and my pregnant family member was/is having a major scary issue. On 04/20/2023 I called this office and left a desperate detailed message for Nurse A. (as instructed by front desk) so nurse can call me back to see how they can help or recommendation(s). I also was in the midst of having a referral sent over to their office. After days of no reply I was extremely embarrassed since I spoke so highly of this practice then was basically ignored. I called the office back days later to let them know that no one has cared enough to call back and how rude that is. Still to this day (05/24/2023) the office has not called to apologize or find out about my family member. I will be finding another office for my care needs. I work in a medical office and we see 70-100 patients a day (one doctor) and if we had a patient reach out worried about a loved one we would "NEVER" ignore them. JUST HORRIBLE.
I just want to say how wonderful this entire staff is! The office is immaculate. EVERYONE is friendly and helpful and they LISTEN. I have never so easily been able to tell a staff what name I go by and that I would not like to be addressed as "Mrs" and have them comply immediately and with a smile. I am terrified of getting an IV in my hand from previous experiences, it is their routine to put IV's in the hand for their procedures. I asked my nurse to PLEASE use my arm and she complied with my request and made it happen! Kudos to this staff!!! BEST place to go and in the best hands with their doctors!!! I wish I could give a million stars!!!!
