Many thanks to Dr. Joshua Hardin and his entire team both at the Surgery Center and Reynolds Crossing for providing outstanding eye care for my cataract surgery throughout the entire process. Everyone was helpful, answered my questions, and provided specific help and reassurance as needed. Highly recommend Dr. Hardin and the VEI staff. They are fantastic!
Best experience I have ever had in the medical field. From the receptionist up front. To the eye exam , pictures, doctor. Was amazing. Very laid back and relaxed while maintaining professionalism. Looking forward to my next visit.
I recently had cataract surgery on my left eye by Dr. Golisch at the VEI surgery center. What an amazing experience. I was stressed prior to surgery as I heard about problems from friends who had it done. They were not patients of Dr. Golisch nor VEI. My experience with my surgery at VEI was the best. Caring, professional, friendly, etc The team at the surgery center, Lindy, Jordan, Mary, Dr Lou, Heather, Michelle, Meghan, Cheryl and Dr Golisch and others are all superstars!! As I write this, I am on my way to have surgery on my right eye. I am confident it will be as great experience as my left eye. Thank you Dr. Golisch and VEI surgery team! You are the best and I highly recommend you to anyone who is having eye surgery!!
Extremely poor customer service. Will have you sitting for 2+ hours after appointment time with a toddler consistently and never has availability in a reasonable amount of time.
I saw the on call Dr. Krawitz at this Huguenot location. This was an emergency visit because I noticed my eyes were getting worse. I usually see Dr. Khan but my surgery had been delayed until after pregnancy. When the Dr. came in after my initial work up he said in an awful tone "I'm sorry I'm just gonna have to be the bearer of bad news you're going blind" Ofcourse that's news no one wants to hear but after rudely and abruptly giving me this news he then proceeded to tell me I shouldn't "blow off" Dr. Khan because he's the only Uevitis specialist in Va. I'm not sure if he was referring to the multiple missed appointments that should've been canceled because I could no longer have the cataract surgery in my condition or the couple of appointments I called in myself and had to cancel because I was under the weather. Nonetheless his tone and attitude toward me was so harsh and lacked any compassion. He wrote me two prescriptions and said he would forward the info to Dr. Khan and sent me on my way. I held myself together until I got into the car with my husband and child and cried inconsolably. The interaction left me feeling discarded and hopeless. Thankfully I serve a God who comforts and has the final say. I will never visit this location again and I'll avoid seeing this particular doctor as well.
