Great facility and best nurses ever. Thank you for making my experience comfortable and pleasant.

I went there to have a surgery to remove cysts from the back of my knee. Dr. Cash was my orthopedic surgeon. I had great customer service the minute I walked in. I Was nervous and they made me feel comfortable. The nurse who took care of me from start to finish was Sue, and Monica. Made room for my family to come in while come sit with me while i waited to go into surgery. After it was a blur, yet i do recall her helping me get dressed to leave. The care there was so comforting and amazing the time they took to make sure I was not stressed. I would highly recommend anyone for in and out type of surgery.

Had to wait 3 months for an appointment. I was so happy the appointment was finally here so I could walk without excruciating pain. Received a last minute voicemail stating they changed my check in to an earlier time. My ride won't get off work in time to get me there. I called to talk to them about it. Tammy was argumentative right away, stating they had cancellations so my time was changed. I either had to be there at the new time or cancel the procedure that I desperately need. She told me that's just the way it is. I had to cancel my scheduled appointment because someone else canceled there's. Why punish the patient who was going to be there on time for a scheduled appointment? Valley Surgery Center doesn't care about their patients!

I have had several neck ablations and epidurals for spinal disc stenosis over the past dozen years. Appointment updates, check-in process, IVs and the procedure have always been efficient, professional, and strategic in targeting the exact nerves to deaden. The physician and their expertise have avoided my having to have disc surgery for years.

This submission is in reference to front office staff only. As others noted surgery times changed without consideration of patients work schedule and arrangements made to accommodate their policies (can't have Uber pick up as others allow). My issue started with required pre-payment. I was told if I don't pay in advance I cannot schedule because people schedule but don't show up. It seemed like a valid reason and I needed to have procedure due to severe back pain so I paid when I scheduled. When I called back a couple of days later to request the receipt be e-mailed to me because FSA needed it for the charge (I explained my account was suspended) I was told they don't have e-mail and will give to me when I come in. This person had an attitude (no sense of customer service) and was unpleasant. She stumbled when repeating their standard statement about this being their policy. There was no apology or empathy - just distain for intruding on her day with a request like that. When I finally got the receipt and submitted, I was advised my FSA does not permit prepayment. So I reached out to the office manager Michelle for a resolution. She was dismissive of my issue and rudely condescending telling me to just have someone call her because this never happens to her. At this point my FSA account is suspended until I repay my FSA account for this surgery. I don't take submitting negative reviews like this lightly - this is my first. I'm a believer if you don't have something nice to say - don't say anything! There is absolutely no sense of patient support or even fake empathy for the dilemma they put me in. The nurses and techs who I came into contact with day of procedure were very caring, pleasant and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about them or the doctor, so please know this review does not include the surgical team.
