Zero stars! Had a wellness exam that was fully covered and pre-authorized BY UCLA. Doctor's instructions were not to provide services not covered under insurance. He did and this caused huge bills for a supposedly covered well check/physical. Customer service is horrible, escalation does not work (no callbacks), Reps blame the insurance, but insurance claims they coded the visit wrong. UCLA would have none of that, called them dishonest. 10 Mychart notes not responded to. Care quality is horrible! $700 to answer questions that were already answered online. Complete waste of time for blood pressure and temperature check...that is FREE at any pharmacy. An overall horrible experience, stay FAR away!
We’ve been at this urgent care for many times. Tonight was not a good experience. I brought my son to urgent care tonight for a suspected migraine headache. Upon arrival, he was the only patient. After checking in, we were promptly called into the examination room. The nurse/medical assistant posed questions about symptoms and informed us that the doctor would attend to us shortly. Following a 45-minute wait with no doctor, we approached the reception desk to report the delay. And who knows they forgot about us? The receptionist insisted that someone had entered our room to swab my son, contrary to the information provided by the medical assistant. I clarified that we were the only patients upon arrival, and she responded that this did not necessarily mean the doctor had no other patients. She requested that another staff member check on the doctor's availability, and we were informed that the doctor would see my son within two minutes. Two to three nurses came from inside and check why I am expressing annoyance but I tried to be mellow. They came out with an apparent look of displeasure on their faces. did not appreciate their demeanor, and the front desk staff seemed uninformed about effective customer service, instead displaying a furious expression. Decided to leave and find another urgent care instead.
Worse wait times. This is not first come first serve basis and the patients who came after you will get to go. The staff is unusually frustrated and short everytime I stop by here. Been waiting here for over 1:20 mins to be seen for my possible fracture and I am the only one who has been waiting while others who came after me were seen and treated and left the place. When asked, one of their frustrated staff was more frustrated and another one answered saying I am in queue and it is taking more wait times which makes zero sense. I am leaving now and will reach out to my bank for my money.
I was vaccinated within 15 minutes of arrival, and in my car within 30 minutes. The care team is very well organized and courteous. On April 7th at 2:40 pm I went to UCLA Health Center for my Covid 19 vaccine. The parking lot was very full, yet I could find a spot. The line seemed long, about 10 people, to check-in at the outdoor tent, but it moved quickly. You must have your driver's license with you. After the quick registration I waited in another line until a nurse invited me to her station. She asked several questions taking about 5 minutes before administering the shot. Then I was directed to a waiting room and instructed to wait there for 15 minutes incase I had an immediate allergic reaction. I received the J&J vaccine. One and done, yay. My arm ached a little immediately following the shot and stopped aching before I left the waiting room. I highly recommend the UCLA vaccination center.
Most Ridicoulus Place. Reschedule your Consultation Appointment Without Advising You. Do Not Care About People Here. People Have Autoimmune Diseases And Look Forward To Be Seen By A Rheumatologist. Some Have To Rely On Public Transportation, Live Out Of The Area.
