Everyone there is great. The receptionist was so nice. The nurses are some of the best anywhere and Dr Lee is second to none. They did both my husbands eyes and treated him so good. The check in area is very clean and waiting area was also. If you need cataract surgery you’ll be glad you went to The Regional Eye Center on Kingsport because these are the best you’ll find anywhere.

Spotless facilities. Helpful, smiling staff. Knowledgable Professionals in provider chain. A fairly large Experience base in Doctor chain, (no matter how many hallucinating LLM VAI deployed, will not be able to match that intuitive leap in your Expert System software). Quick to address questions and concerns, no matter how mundane... Snippets of conversation overheard from staff talking as they passed by, that revealed true concern for patients, not just run-em-thru attitude seen so often these days... This place is a rare Gem in the rubble that American Healthcare has become... Grateful I was able to land here when I needed the specialty. Wistful memories of "how it was" only a few years before...don't let me get started lol. EDIT// Sorry, let me be clear. Waited until thru with procedures, to give a fair review and not just a spot instance of one visit. Eyes are complicated and easy to mess up, we all know somebody who had bad results, right? Rather they take a few more minutes and don't rush! So yeah sometimes waited a bit lol. Little things like bad iv lines happen, things take more time sometimes, etc. So I gave a fair review and didnt focus on " burnt spot on my toast omg" ... Only downchek on whole schlameil was access. I am mobility compromised (lungs n back) so walking a lot sucks. But hey, I managed lol. I'm certain wheelchairs are accomodated, saw ramps n such, but not best access... Take it with a grain of salt.

They called to explain my husband’s surgery details, pre-op and post-op, and fees a few days before he had his cataract surgery. The check-in on the day of surgery was easy. A slight wait before calling him back for his surgery. About 1 1/2 hours from pre-surgery to the text for me to get him at the patient pickup area at the front of the building. Surgery update board is easy to understand so you know the patient’s progress throughout the entirety. Overall good experience. Actually went faster than I expected. Thanks to all of you for a great experience.

I’m impressed with the professionalism. Everybody was very kind and polite and the surgery went very well. My left eye is considerably better and I have one more eye to go on 29 January 2026. Looking forward to it and seeing better without the need of glasses other than the fact I will need readers, but I’ll take that any day instead of constantly needing to wear glasses to anymore.
