The Reading Hospital Surgicenter At Spring Ridge

From start to finish, my experience at The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge was absolutely exceptional. The care I received before, during, and after surgery was top-notch and truly exceeded my expectations. Christine and Jean at the front desk were always so kind, accommodating, and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. My pre-op team, Chrissy and Kaila, were amazing — caring, attentive, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making me feel comfortable every step of the way. The rooms had beautiful paintings that made me feel at peace. In the OR, Aubrey, Mark, and Megan made what could have been a very nerve-wracking experience feel calm, comfortable, and manageable. They were compassionate, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel at ease — they even let me choose a song to listen to in the operating room, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel so much more personal and comforting. Even though I was out like a light in seconds and don’t even remember the song 🤣, it was such a nice touch and made me smile. Carly in post-op was wonderful in helping me get ready to go home and continued the same level of kindness and attentiveness. What stood out most was how individualized and caring the entire experience felt. I never felt like “just another patient” — every person treated me with compassion, patience, and professionalism. And of course, Dr. Sergio Perez is simply the best. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received and felt completely confident in his hands. I am so grateful to the entire team for making this experience such a positive one.

I can’t compliment my care team enough. Dr. Chandler, Samantha, and Serena went above and beyond. I was a bit anxious going into the appointment, but they put me at ease. They explained the biopsy procedure down to the most minute detail and answered my questions with compassion. Throughout the procedure, they explained what they were doing at all times and made sure I was not in too much discomfort. Afterward, Sam and Serena stayed with me until I felt ready to leave. The entire team showed a level of care so often missing in today’s medical field.

I recently had a biopsy, and although I was understandably very nervous, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Andrea, who stayed by my side the whole time. She talked with me throughout the procedure, helped ease my anxiety, and made what could have been a very stressful experience much more manageable.

The wound care staff are fabulous and very professional. They treat their patients like family. I started the hyperbaric treatment for my mouth due to Radiation treatment back 2019 at head and neck cancer.

My son was so scared but the SurgiCenter did a wonderful job helping him stay safe and sound! He had a complicated and involved dental procedure and anesthesia was the best course of action, especially since he is Autistic. Reading Pediatric Dentistry and Reading SurgiCenter were a great team! Everyone was kind and professional!
