I give this place 1 star because the staff is nice. The doctors however, completely different story. Had to have retinal and cataract surgery at this place. I was supposed to sit and talk with the surgeon about the procedure. NEVER HAPPENED. The day of the surgery they gave me a scan code with the cataract information on it. IT TELLS ME NOTHING ABOUT THE PRODUCT. Not too mention I was told to take a Tylenol for pain after the surgery. I have never wanted to harm myself until then. The follow-up was even worse. The surgeon was rude, physically rough with my eye. He snatched the stitch out of my eye then called me sensitive. My most recent visit was even worse. The surgery was unsuccessful and I personally feel that if the consultation was given, I NEVER would have had the procedure done.The doctors do not listen to what patients are going through. It's all about collecting insurance money. Never felt more disrespected in my life by people who are supposed to make you feel better. I honestly hate this place. Wouldn't advise an enemy to go here. Currently looking for a better facility for my eye care needs.
My mom had a visit in Nov 2025. our specialist, Lisa, was amazing. her demeanor, communication and professionalism was outstanding. she comforted my mom throughout the appointment and we were very happy with our experience with her.
I actually had a very good interactive experience with all of the staff at reception, and with the people in back for the initial exam. My issue was with the doctor. Dr. Green was evidently the only doctor there that day. And the waiting room was lively. I came in with some specific, troubling eye issues I had questions about. He was cavalier, patronizing and altogether unhelpful. He didn't help me at all, but I didn't get the impression that was his goal anyway. I ended up having to make a subsequent appointment elsewhere and go through the whole exhaustive exam again. It turned out to be worth it because I'm getting the help I actually do need. But I'm disappointed that I couldn't be taken seriously and helped here. The only reason there are any stars associated with this review is because of everyone else around that obviously overworked, callous doctor.
Great experience in every way, outstanding results because of the amazing Drs. Staff,knowledge excellent treatment. I tell everyone I talk to. I say thank you Jesus for Southwestern Eye Center.
Our experience at Southwestern Eye Center was extremely disappointing. My wife was forced to schedule three separate appointments on three separate days, yet two of those visits ended up being a complete waste of time because the clinic could not provide the services they had scheduled. This meant multiple missed days of work for nothing. The customer service was poor from start to finish. Staff were unhelpful and showed little concern for the inconvenience caused. The doctor’s bedside manner was terrible—he came across as dismissive and, frankly, incompetent. He struggled to use both the computer and the medical equipment, which did not inspire any confidence in the care provided. Dr Daniel Adelberg was our provider. We left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and with zero trust in this office. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Southwestern Eye Center to anyone.
