So this is a mixed review! I will start with the positive; the staff, especially the nurses, provided extremely good care both days of my cataract surgeries. They were friendly and informative. I had to return to have the film removed (common) and that visit was less pleasant, the nurse and doctor were both "bothered" by my presence. Now, this is where it goes completely off the rails. My surgeries were in early July. I had to pay nearly $900 upfront to have my surgery. I was assured that after my insurance company paid (the full amount), I would receive a refund for my upfront contribution. We are now in the beginning of December and after multiple attempts to contact the billing department, I was provided with a response of, we'll look into it (transferring responsibility to corporate). My upfront payment was not submitted to my insurance, they have no record of my payment. I'm not sure if I am dealing with insurance fraud or just an incompetent billing department. I suspect I will be contacting them again to follow up because they appear uninterested in resolving my financial burden created by their department. Be cautious of your financial transactions with this location or try another business if possible! I wish I could have reviewed the initial surgery nurses separate because they are great!
