The entire staff is great here! I got to the facility early, they brought me back and made me feel super comfortable. All the staff work great together as a team. The courteous nurses, anesthesiologist and Doctor reviewed all the steps they were about to preform and made sure I was at ease, since getting surgery is a big deal. Everyone took great care of me. I would definitely recommend St. Peter’s Ambulatory Surgery Center to anyone!

The surgery center was very nice and the cleanliness was great!! All the staff members were very personal. Only thing I would recommend out in the lobby is a machine to grab a number ticket so they don't have to tell our whose next.. Dr. Hazan is wonderful!! I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Courteous, smiley, caring, so nice. The anesthesiologist super nice didn't even feel theiv go in! All the nurses that approached me super friendly. One who stood out was Nikki! Thank you all!

I came for surgery for dr glisson they told me it was all in network the lady up front the day of said it may not be after i requested it be in network then proceeded to say it will be written off if so you guys lied to me and charged me for anesthesia just to get me in.

I had surgery here on 4/14/2021 because it was the surgery center my surgeon chose. The place appeared clean, etc., although they were passing pens around from patient to patient. The staff seemed nice enough but it's about the entire experience. Of course they asked for payment in full before surgery which didn't bother me. However, what I found incredibly unprofessional and completely lacking in any concern for my outcome was that apparently my surgery ran over by 34 minutes and they are in a serious rush for that additional $340. Yes, they charge $10 per minute for use of their facility. They literally called me first thing the next morning when I was not able to even locate my credit card nor in any shape to be giving it out over the phone. I told them I'd pay as soon as I was able to access my credit cards. They proceeded to harass me multiple times per day with 5 additional calls over the next 48 hours, leaving 4 voice-mails. I do not recommend them as there are many options for people self-paying.

Post op care was not at all pediatric friendly. When my child started throwing up waking from the anesthesia (including a sublingual tablet that had not been dissolved), I was told they couldn’t do anything else for her and to take her home. She had only taken a few sips of juice (which she threw up), IV was removed earlier (which another staff member came in and said this is why he wanted it to stay in- clearly miscommunication between staff), she had not/could not urinate. While I was confused, we did leave. I became more angry as we drove home- the throwing up did not stop throughout the day and into the evening. She was in pain and unable to keep even ice chips down. No anti nausea medication was offered or prescribed. I filled out a feedback form and was called back. However, it felt more like excuses of miscommunication and again telling me that my child stayed longer than usual. Everything was satisfactory until my child had been there too long and started to get sick. It absolutely felt as if we were turned away when we needed care and instruction the most. In talking to other parents, this is not the norm of their experiences, especially if a child is violently sick and unable to get pain and vomiting under control. Maybe the center is great with adults, but I wouldn’t recommend this facility for pediatric surgeries. It was a scary few days and my child is fully recovered. The on call dr at the practice was helpful the first night in prescribing medication to help my child stop throwing up.
