I would take CAUTION when planning a visit to this location. I only had one appointment here, and I would not recommend this clinic. During what was supposed to be a routine visit, my provider ordered an additional test at the end of the appointment “just in case,” even after I explained that I didn’t think I had symptoms that warranted it. I later learned that the test was not covered by my insurance, leaving me with a $430 bill. I reached out to the billing department several times and either didn’t receive a response for over a month or never heard back at all. The clinic was also not helpful in assisting me with navigating the insurance issue. This experience has left me feeling unheard, unsupported, and taken advantage of due to the unexpected high cost. I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic if you value transparency, communication, and respect for patients’ financial and medical concerns, qualities that this location clearly lacks.

My spouse, Marjorie, had a knee injury. Since I had visited Optum before, I phoned up in advance on 10 September 2025 stating that we would not drive up to Everett from Seattle unless this facility had all the latest imaging tools for complete diagnosis. I was told that all were available, so please come. We drove up immediately. We saw the doctor promptly. However, after exam, no diagnoses was offered. I asked if there was a meniscus tear. The doctor did not know. I asked if there was an ACL tear. The doctor did not know. I asked if their MRI machine was used to diagnose. The doctor stated that they had an MRI machine, but they were not prepared to use it. I then asked why come here, if the doctor cannot diagnose, and all the imaging tools were declined to be used. Did we not waste our time? The doctor could not answer that question either. It seems that her hands were tied by some Optum internal profit and loss considerations. Until they change these ridiculous rules, I would NOT recommend this Optum 'Urgent Care' facility, ever. For me, this was a first. For the first time ever in visiting Medical Care facilities, we received inferior care--no quality care, and a decline to diagnose.

Want to spend two hours waiting for the doctor to come in? We'll this is the place for you. Nurse was nice gave me a bottle of water, didn't realize id spend this long waiting just to be told my very obviously swollen arm is not swollen and then wait another hour to be told they can't do a ultrasound. Save the hassle got insurance go to the ER wait times are the same but better results.

Updating my 1st review of Optum. 12/14/25. (I'm having another chronic issue, and most likely I should have been referred to another provider in the summer. However, now I'm left hanging in a lurch. I'm in a transition period from one provider (Optum) to another medical provider nearby. Unfortunately, the earliest the other provider would see me is next year. And, yes I understand we are in December, Christmas and New Year's is coming up. So getting any appointments now is not going to happen. My condition worsens all the while I wait. Yet, to be told call 911 or go to the ER for treatment. This could have been prevented if I should have been referred to the provider that now I'm being referred to. Months wasted, being put on medication that didn't work. Maybe more tests should have been done? To get the right diagnosis? Why hesitate. I like my providers, the staff do care. However, I believe it's the procedure of Optum about patient care that is missing. You can do better Optum. Receiving a referral message on mychart just before Christmas and New Year's is not the way to treat a patient that's been coming to you since 1999. Mychart is a big problem in your system. It needs to be addressed. You need to be upfront to your customers that messages take days to respond. Mychart also has system issues. Its normal to not work. A patient is left to message through mychart and make another phone call. Thus creating multiple messages through multiple systems. Inefficiencies that need to be addressed. There is a 5-6 months waiting for any new appointment. Your departments don't communicate well with each other. Acting as silos on their own. A patient is left to wonder who's in charge. Stop referring patients to the walk in clinic from the Dermatologist department. Not all medical staff are trained to deal with someone dealing with chronic issues. Patient is referred back to dermatology department. ) Original post: I not ever had bad service before. This time it has been a headache to deal with. I've been coming to Optum since it was The Everett clinic in the 90s. Service is getting caught up with red tape or a lack of customer service between their own locations and staff, departments. I contacted the Dermatologist office via mychart for help with an skin issue on Monday morning. A reply was sent later in the evening. It has become a back and forth from being referred to this office. To being transferred several times. No availability in Dermatologist department at all. All the while my condition worsens. More painful. Messages not being returned. What a waste. Optum tells us to use mychart for messages. Yet, the delays in getting back. Also, the lack of their departments working together. Dermatology refers me to the walk in clinic. I arrive at the walk in clinic only to be told they don't perform those services at that time. Then I'm told to contact Dermatologist department. Now its a joke a lack of communication between departments. No one willing to properly relay information from one department to another. Just to be told to call them is not right and a lack of accountability. Being told to go to the ER and hope it gets better is noted. Bureaucracy at Optum is a hindrance to good care. Customer service is not present at this time. I truly understand the situation when my provider is out for the week. But at the same time what is a patient to do. I'm the one having to make multiple calls and requests for medical assistance. At this time I don't recommend for new patients. I don't have a problem with the caregivers. The new methods they are doing aren't working.

Go anywhere else but here. Called ahead to make sure they had an ultra sound machine to check for a bloodclot. Doctor told me he would check if it was available and didnt come back for over an hr (not even to update me) so I walked out. No one genuinely cares or has a sense of urgency or offers any solutions.
