Optim Surgery Center

Had surgery with Dr. Sedory for a ruptured hamstring, which was scheduled quickly to give me the best chance at recovery. Was nice to be able to do it in the surgery center and not have to go to the hospital. Very smooth process pre-op and on the day of surgery. Excellent bedside manner by all staff that I met, from surgeons, to anesthesia, to nursing staff. A little pricey, even with insurance, but top notch medical care.

I have successfully been receiving pain management treatment for many years at Optim Pain Management in Savannah. Dr. Hegerty and his PA, Scott Schnaible are my regular providers. They are always kind, compassionate and concerned about my pain symptoms. Most importantly, they listen intently, answer my questions thoroughly and explain my treatment options to me. Recently, I had my 2nd cervical epidural at the Optim Surgery Center. Dr. Hegerty administered both . Initially, I was nervous that it would be scary and painful but Dr. Hegerty quickly put an end to my concerns and I can honestly say that it wasn't the least bit painful! I'm very grateful for the excellent care that Dr. Hegerty has provided me over the years. I would most definitely recommend him and his PA, Scott Schnaible. Ann Reade

The friendliest staff anywhere. I know, when I have a procedure done at the surgery center, I can feel relaxed and assured of the knowledge and experience of each one. I do have some favorites that I always hope for and they know who they are! Thank all of you guys.

Absolutely pleased with 2, Total Knee Replacements that Dr. Hope completed (April 25, Nov. 25). My recovery on both has been fantastic achieving about the same ROM as pre-surgery. I played golf within 8 weeks on the first one and my recovery seems even better on the 2nd one. Everyone has been fantastic from Pre Surgery education, Pre-op, Post-op and billing.

Surgery center and those affiliated with my care was impeccable. Everyone was helpful and great. Their billing / finance department could not possibly be worse. I never received an invoice, I only received cryptic text messages. I assumed the text messages were spam as I never received an invoice. I finally called the Optim location where I see my Dr. and they said, yes it was legit and the texts were from the Surgery Center. I called the number in the text and the billing rep was almost argumentative. I explained I never received an invoice in the mail, her response was - Well we never received any mail back so you must have received it. ??? I asked if they could send an invoice again, she said she would try to push it through. I asked if she could email me a copy of the invoice. She said she would. That was almost two weeks ago. I have yet to see an invoice in the mail nor any email with the invoice. Thank goodness the caregivers at Optime are beyond compare. Unlike their finance department and their practices. I have worked with numerous health care providers for well over 35 years as unfortunately our son was born with concerns that required two significant surgical procedures. Optim Surgery Center is the worst I have ever dealt with. You should be ashamed of your level of service. You may consider starting by firing everyone in your Accounts Receivable and reworking all your invoicing polices.
