I had cataract surgery at Garrett Eye Center in the fall of 2025 and had an excellent experience. Dr. Garrett patiently explained the process, my choices, and answered all of my questions. I chose to have corrective lenses inserted to correct my astigmatism and improve my vision. Medicare did pay for the surgery. I also had some symptoms of possible retina detachment prior to surgery. Dr. Garrett has diligently checked my eyes to be sure my retina is okay. I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff has been very supportive and caring. My vision is great, for distance, midvision and reading. I highly recommend this practice.

My son was seen at the Garrett Eye Center. I could not have been more impressed, thankful, and grateful for the entire staff. From the moment you walk in the door you are assured that you are cared for in the best possible way. The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to answer any and all questions I had. The nurses are second to none! They explained what they were doing each step of the way. They made sure to explain to me what was taking place, and they made sure to reassure my son as to what was happening, putting him at ease immediately. When he was seen by Dr. Garrett I knew I was getting experience, expertise, and technology that was second to none. He took his time to ensure that the procedure was done to perfection. He explained each step to my son so that he knew exactly what to expect. He went out of his way to calm his fears, all while performing the procedure to perfection. As a community we are fortunate to have a Dr like Dr. Garrett, a facility with current and new technology, a staff that is caring and knowledgeable, and a Dr with decades of experience that chooses to share his gift with all of us. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind, which made us feel completely comfortable from start to finish. I have been a patient of Dr Garrett for over 25 years, and have had several experiences with the clinic and Dr Garrett, including Lasic surgery; Cataract surgery and an inter ocular lens installed. His staff is incredibly professional and personal, and his facility is impressive. All my procedures have been very successful, and eliminated my dependence on glasses or contacts. My surgeries were somewhat complicated by my astigmatism, and he dealt with that successfully. Would highly recommend his services.
