Usually everyone in this office is professional and very kind. They answer your questions and help you understand everything happening during an appointment with patience and care. Dr. Mandell, especially, is wonderful. However, once or twice I have had to face curt and disrespectful attitudes from staff and over the phone. The billing department was very patient, kind and courteous.

Loved my doctor BUT will never use the Horizon for my glasses. Worst experience ever! They gave me my new rimless glasses with the screws protruding outward towards my eyes. When I made mention that I couldn't see because of the screws, they gave me the stink eye and then they realize that they gave me my glasses without cutting the screws flushed with the lenses. Well, that was the day before my vacation so I was perturbed. I went back in February to pick them up during my annual eye visit and when I went to try them on the right lines was fine. The left lens wasn't and I kept saying there's something wrong with the lens and the representative Annette got stinky with me and kept saying that it's because it's not my new prescription. I had my old prescription on. It didn't matter what prescription it was the left eye was fuzzy. nothing to do with the prescription, had to do with the lens. So again I had to leave. I was entering the elevator I could hear the representative of the net talking about me like I was a terrible mean individual. I never got nasty. I never cussed at her. I never said anything derogatory towards her. All I said was the left lens was fuzzy. . Yep, that's NOT the type of place I want to visit. THEY LOST ME AS THE CUSTOMER. I GO THERE EVERY YEAR, GET A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES AND LENSES EVERY YEAR TO THE TUNE of $700+ PER GLASS SO I GUESS I WAS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO EVEN INQUIRE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE LEFT lenw. SO NOW i will TAKE MY GLASSES SOMEWHERE ELSE AND PAY EXTRA MONEY TO GET these new ones FIXED.
