The staff and Dr Whitten are absolutely wonderful. However, the wait times when coming in for surgery are a little ridiculous. Everytime I've been there, I've had to wait a hour and a half or MORE past my scheduled appointment time before they got me back. Time management needs to be more of a priority. They expect us to be on time, they should be as well. Most of us are thirsty and hungry, please don't make us wait longer then needed.
Today was my first experience with NPI Surgery Center and I was NOT disappointed. The location has easy access and close proximity to food, gas and even a car wash. I was greeted by reception and promptly checked in having all my paperwork explained. I was brought back in the first 30 seconds to prepare for my procedure. I was amazed at how friendly everyone was. I spoke with multiple staff members getting me ready and finalizing my procedure preparations. Every step was explained and all my questions were answered. The wait was pleasant and I was checked on multiple times insuring I was still comfortable. I was brought to the procedure room by 2 wonderful people and was again asked if I had any questions or concerns before everything began. The RFA of my lower back went well and I had no issues at all. I can honestly say that I would definitely recommend this Surgery Center to anyone in need of their services. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The facilities had ample parking, the building and rooms were clean and like new.
