I met with Dr Bassam pretty quickly. He arranged surgery. That’s now done and everyone from front desk to billing to surgical staff to recovery staff to anesthesiologist and Dr Bassam himself were wonderful. I am on the road to recovery now and I cannot praise this Dr and his staff enough. Thank you all. I’m thankful my primary put me in contact with them. I would highly recommend them and give 10 stars if I could.

Disappointing as I never saw him after the procedure. I have had a few surgeries and have never had this kind of an experience. Even the hospital staff was surprised that he never came to let me know if the surgery went well and give any instructions in order to have a speedy and a good recovery. Very disappointing.

Just an FYI: I went to see Dr Sayegh about one varicose vein the size of a silver dollar. I asked his PA and staff about how much it will cost me to have this removed. They wouldn't answer me. I went along and got a bilateral leg ultrasound that cost me $400. Then two visits to Sayegh's office that cost $100. Still they would not tell me what it would cost. I scheduled a surgery date. Then called a couple of weeks later before my surgery and was told by one of his staff that insurance would cover it all. I didn't really believe this and called back a week later and talked to the woman in charge of billing. She said that information was wrong, and for the surgery center, anesthesia, and his bill, I was looking at around $2000. For one small varicosity. This guy came highly recommended. Maybe that is an acceptable number for a lot of people, but to me that's a lot of money. So I was going to be in it for at least $2500. I cancelled. I spent $500 for nothing, because they won't tell you ahead of time what things could cost you. I feel scammed.

I won’t speak to Dr. Sayegh’s expertise, I’m sure he’s a very competent surgeon. But I can speak to my experience, and this was the worst surgical experience I have ever been through. it was a simple hernia repair, and it took me five months to recover! The fiasco began the day before my scheduled surgery when I was called and told that my surgery was rescheduled for the following week. This was very upsetting as I had family that made arrangements to come and be with me during this time and they had to reschedule their entire week not to mention the plans that I made at my workplace to accommodate the time off I would need to take. Following my surgery, which was late, the doctor never came out and spoke to my family to tell them what happened during the surgery, and he never came and spoke to me. In addition, I had a horrible reaction to the anesthesia and even though I was sick and vomiting, they sent me home. I was back in the hospital two days later in the emergency room because I couldn’t keep food down and take my head off the pillow . Following the removal of my sutures, staples, I had to return to the surgeon twice a week to have the incision debrided as it was not healing. Five months later, I am fully recovered, and grateful to all of the doctor’s staff and the doctor himself for bringing me to this point. Although I do still have a twinge of pain here and there. I do want to say that his staff is exceptional. They were very sweet, loving and caring.

If I could give Dr. Sayegh ZERO stars I would! He was VERY rude, and showed no compassion at the follow up appointment post surgery. I would never refer or recommend him to anyone. He was in and out of the follow up appointment in less than 2 minutes and completely disregarded my concerns with my troublesome recovery. It has been 6 weeks post surgery- I am still in pain and Dr. Sayegh did not seem to care or offer any remedies.
