Angie was very knowledgeable and was patient with me and explained everything very well for me to understand. She was very helpful in getting me another appointment asap. Which is very much appreciate. The staff was wonderful also very clean environment. Did not have to wait long to get into a room to see Angie. Ty Angie have a great rest of your week!!! Angie has always been professional, compassionate, and thorough with my care plan. She does not give me unreasonable expectations but truthful feedback. She respects my feelings and me medically advocating for myself as well ensuring her approach to my care is reasonable versus risky. She has been able to help me navigate the intricacies of my case, the various diagnoses and better understand different protocols available to me, so I am equipped to make the best possible decisions. She has maintained her objectivity professionally but has shown great compassion in areas where I might need help the most. I am very thankful and grateful to have someone like Angie advocating for me and I have been able to tolerate my chronic pain with following a regimented protocol and her professional medical expertise. The Pain Center of LaPorte has greatly helped me and changed the quality of my life which before I came to them (I was in excruciating pain and was wheelchair bound, and had no hope), because they have been consistent and work through what is necessary to find the right balance of care.
Usually, they listen to your concerns and answer all your questions. After many months and years, this NP finally listened to me. Unfortunately, she is now trying to quit all my medications. My pain can be intense on certain days. Other days, not so bad. I wish they would REALLY listen to their patients. Not their own agenda.
Chelsea and Dr. Ho always take great care of me! They genuinely care about me and my issues. I’ve always felt listened to, they both have always shown me compassion, and true concern. I will never go anywhere else! Staff is also superb.
I wouldn’t recommend this office for one reason. That would be Angie. She talks down to me and doesn’t listen when I try to tell her where the pain is. She thinks She knows everything and doesn’t listen when I have concerns. However, the staff are so kind and caring. Dr. Puranik is an excellent doctor and takes really good care of his patience. If Angie wasn’t a part of this practice, I would highly recommend it.
