If it weren't for the CCU nursing staff I would give this place a 0 star if possible. The nurses are great and took excellent care of my father while he was there. Especially Adrienne, Scott, Matt, Shawn, Drew, Hayat, and Vinson.( there were others whose names I didn't get.) That being said everything outside the actual caregivers is hot garbage. The hand soap in his bathroom(248) was expired the entire 11 days we were there even with housekeeping coming by daily to clean the room. Hope the meds you're giving patients aren't as expired as the soap is. The cafeteria amd communication on patient diet is the absolute worst I have ever seen. How are you going to have a patient on adult tube feeding only that keeps asking for food and being told he's not allowed to eat anything, yet 3 times a day you are bringing a food tray to them. Have you ever had to explain to a loved one why they can't eat the food the hospital is sending them? Absolute joke of an administration. Also, now that my dad is in hospice in mu care he's showing remarkable improvement even though yall were writing him off as dead. Your nickname of Southern Kills is well deserved.

I came into the er because my daughter was choking and could breath. She an infant. The white lady at the we didn’t care and said “ let’s see if she has insurance and since she never been here before we have to put her into the system “ I said “really she choking” She said “‘yes” I was so hot and frustrated because I knew it was a race thing. If were were white they would have rushed us back there to help save our infant daughter. But they didn’t want to because we were black My infant daughter had insurance and that was all that Mattered to the white lady at take in at the er. She was all calm and non caring. I can’t believe I missed out on that lawsuit for that situation. And now look still black people are not getting treated as urgent when they go to the er. Whether it’s choking, burned victim, a black woman having a baby and the baby is half way out of her, gun shot victims, head injury victims etc. So if my infant daughter died from their non urgency I most definitely would have sued the breaks off this place. News on tv and news papers etc would have blasted this hospital and it wouldn’t be standing til this day if that happened. People need to sue people more especially big businesses and corporations like hospitals, Walmart, etc The racism and non urgency I got from this hospital will never go away.. EVER.

I fell at the Welcome Ctr just coming in from GA. Wonderful people there helped us back in the car and the hospital staff got me into the ER. Within minutes I was X-rayedand told that I had to have surgery in the morning. My surgery was swift and my leg was weight bearing the next day. I was only in the hospital for 3-days and I am now doing physical therapy to attain 💯. I told my husband and family that if I ever have to go to a hospital again, I'm driving from Atlanta to Nashville!! Love you tons, So. Hills and staff. Carolyn Mumpower

I was at the hospital on December 4, 2025, to complete my pre-op process. Rebecca at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and that was such a relief because my morning had already been long while waiting at a previous appointment! The next friendly face was from Hermy (I hope I’ve spelled it correctly). This woman could make anyone’s day a good one with her smile and bubbly personality! Each encounter with her made my morning brighter! Then came the nurse, Lynn, that explained my upcoming procedure, did my lab work, and answered all my questions. I’m sure I was “talking her head off” just being nervous about everything facing me on surgery day. But she was very nice, friendly, and showed compassion and concern. These three women were amazing and I hope I see their smiling faces on the day of my surgery!! PS: Rebecca was even kind enough to call me immediately after she realized I left my Brumate on the counter when I left the building!! I was able to return to the hospital, and she had it waiting for me!
