The Dr performing my procedure was great, but the surgery center not so much. 1. They charged $400 dollars more than what I was quoted. We didn’t have time to really investigate the disconnect because I was already scheduled to go under in less than an hour. The clerk just said my Dr under quoted me so I just had to pay it. 2. The bed was dirty, linens had multiple pieces of hair woven in them. It was really gross. 3. Too many people talking/hanging out on the floor, too many people walking around in the surgery suite that were obviously not patients. The environment came off as very unprofessional, way too relaxed. It made me very nervous about the care I was getting. 4. The technician or nurse, not sure who she was, could not find my vein, but decided to dig in with the needle and try to find it anyway instead of calling someone more experienced to start the IV. This is even after I told her my veins are hard to find, and her looking at multiple sites. She caused horrible pain and then I had to get re-stuck by someone else. When I complained she stated “girlfriend it has to get in there somehow how”. The issue was not me, it was her lack of experience. So unprofessional. She did not apologize and had horrible bed side manner. The nurse and CRNA that assisted my surgery were good. Overall though I did not have a good experience.

I am not one to leave reviews, but my daughter’s experience was so wonderful here. She is 7 years old and was having her tonsils removed. She was so anxious and nervous, due to past medical experiences. The anesthesiologist, Kelly, was amazing. He made my daughter feel as comfortable as possible to ease her fears. He let her practice everything she would do beforehand. He was amazing! Dr. Seicshnaydre was amazing as well! The whole staff was so was kind. They consistently gave me updates on my daughter’s well-being while I could not be with her! Nurse Izzy was also so kind to send a text update towards the end of her procedure. I could not be more pleased with our experience here!

I had surgery here and had an unexpectedly great experience. I had great service from Nurses Becca, Izzy, and V. Nurse Paige was absolutely AMAZING! She was knowledgeable, professional, and has an outstanding bedside manner! She is undoubtedly the friendliest, most attentive nurse I’ve ever encountered in all of my years! Thank you for your excellent service, Paige! You’re my favorite! 😃

Today I had an epidural steroid injection for pain I’ve been dealing with for 8 months. I’m giving it a 4 star because of the Doctor I had. Dr. Chen. I don’t like how some doctors like to tell you what they think you did to get in that situation. My c5 n c6 is on my nerve in my neck it’s been getting really bad. I’ve been waiting on other appointments but had to wait and the pain was getting to me. So my doctor decided to refer me to someone else and thank God they replied the same day. Why did this doctor tell me that he bet my neck is like this because of how often I be on the phone. He said I bet if I see your screen time on your phone I bet my mouth would drop. He didn’t even let me tell him what I deal with on a daily basis. Having two autistic kids 12 years apart and having to do everything for both of them. Get them dress brush their teeth doing their hair. One has long waist length hair other one I keep it low. I’m a single parent with everything on my plate. I do a lot. They both in school I make sure I’m involved in everything they do. I’m stressed depressed trying to do right by my kids and make sure I make them happy. They both have at least one appointment each week for something. So you mean to tell me my doctor today want to tell me that I stay on my phone too much and at my age I shouldn’t be doing that. That was his final answer that I stay on my phone too much and that’s why I’m in the situation I’m in😡😡😡 I’m the one to take them to their pediatrician, dentist, eye doctors, pulmonologist, ENT(ear nose throat) psychiatrist, occupational speech and physical therapy outside of school. And these appointments is in Jackson Hattiesburg Ocean springs and Alabama. I also tried telling him that I had a wreck April 13th and that’s when I really felt pain in my neck. He said it’s because I’m getting up their in age. The staff is very nice and respectful. I’ve been to this place before for my baby when he was 2 he had to get scoped. That’s why I thought I was gone get help and not get criticized and talked down on by the doctor. I guess he had a bad morning. I was there at 7 they started at 8am. It was mostly older people and a little baby. Maybe he needed to let his frustrations off on someone and I was that one. Dr. Chen last words to me is well I see we will be going back and forth on this for another 5 hours and I don’t have the time and neither do you. Dr. Chen start listening to your patients after you done asked them questions knowing you not gone give them a chance to talk. You said my doctor the surgeon referred me to you. Correction they were waiting for me to get help with the hospital they were booked up and my pain kept increasing. It was me calling them to help me is what got me there. I DON’T LIKE FOR A DOCTOR THATS OVER ME MEDICALLY TO GO BACK AND FORTH WITH ME LIKE WE’RE TWO ENEMIES!!!!

Who Knows

From the time I checked in and to the time I left, my experience was perfect. ALL of the staff, nurses, and anesthesiologist were very compassionate, courteous and kind, all the while being professional. My doctor was amazing. The experience I had was fantastic. If I could have rated them higher, I would have. I would definitely recommend their services.
