I had cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Tanzi did a very good job for this procedure and I'm almost 20/20, but it's been less than a week since my 2nd eye was done. Hopefully it will improve. The one rec I would make is how you check in and check out. Specifically, you go through one contact when you walk in the front door, who then tells you where to go (line can be long). But when you check out, guidance is a little lacking, at least the first time. We were told to take our paperwork up front, but there are multiple manned desks so we were unclear where to take our paperwork. The check-in person upfront saw us and then redirected us to the right person. But it would have been helpful to have been told exactly where to go, or put up a big sign that says "Checkout Here!" Other than that, it was a good experience and the techs did a great job explaining what they were doing at each step. Thank you! - Bill Sweger
An excellent experience! Hickory, North Carolina is fortunate to have such expertise in the health of our eyes. After a routine eye exam with my wonderful optometrist Dr Matthew Davis, I was referred to Dr Kelty for a retinal tear. I was nervous and felt anxious about treatment and if I would have any vision deficit. The office staff from the moment of check-in til I checked out was polite, professional and efficient. Dr Kelty explained everything to where I could understand, answered my questions and took his time. I never felt rushed. I am relieved of my anxiety and nervous feeling. I am very thankful to be a patient of Dr Kelty and I commend them for their excellent staff and the clean environment of their building, waiting rooms and exam rooms.
Doctor was fantastic but his assistant was the worst. Absolutely ruined what was already a traumatic experience. This was an absolute shot show. She refused to be helpful, was condescending and basically rude. Seems like she cared more about getting us out than helping. This place has served 4 generations of my family but never again. Fantastic doctor but good lord, his staff was a horror.
Friendly from start to finish. Dr.Chang very knowledgeable in his work. Staff was great. Got me in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely go back. I traveled slightly over an hour just to see Dr. Chang. It is worth the time.
Graystone Eye made my experience very pleasant yet professional. The check-in was convenient. Dr. Tanzie was thoughtful and thorough in his consultation. His assistant, I think her name was Mindy, was excellent in her exam and was personable and reassuring. Giovanni was great in scheduling the surgery. Measuring to get the proper lens went smoothly. Everyone involved in my care was helpful and efficient. Would highly recommend.
