If you’re about to have a cystoscopy at this surgery center, I want to share my experience. I was here for a cystoscopy with Dr. Lipyanski. The facility is quite small, with only one room where they perform the procedure. When I arrived, there were five other patients ahead of me. My appointment was scheduled for 8 AM, but my procedure didn’t start until 11:35 AM. My main feedback is the long wait time and the lack of communication about when your turn will be. If you’re arranging for someone to pick you up after the procedure, be sure to allow for a lot of buffer time. I had a friend arrive at 10 AM, thinking the procedure would take around two hours, but I wasn’t done until 2 PM. This led to a lot of unnecessary waiting. The staff were decent and made sure I felt cared for, and the facility was clean and up to standard. One issue I had was that they tried to explain the cystoscopy results to me right after I was waking up from anesthesia. At that point, I wasn’t fully conscious, so I couldn’t really absorb what the doctor was telling me. It would be much more helpful if they provided written notes of the findings so you can review them after you’ve fully recovered. Overall, it was a good experience with some room for improvement. If you’re unsure about trusting this facility and Dr. Lipyanski, I can say that my experience was generally positive.
I was given a 7am appointment and I was there a lot longer than I should’ve been watching people that came in after me be called over and over again and than when I asked why was it that I wasn’t called ahead of all the people that came after me I was told because I was given an appointment for 12pm. When I know for a fact that my appointment was given to me for 7am and I was there at 6:40am all the way to after 10am. Crazy
I truly enjoyed my experiences. The staff is well trained and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. They answered all of my concerns and are very patient with me. The area's of service are vey clean and up to date. They always call me about my appointments and telephone the pharmacy about my medications. I am one happy patient 🤗
We would have love to give 4.5/5 but I will round it up instead. Our interactions with the doctors, nurses and staff went without any hitch. I would like to thank Destiny in particular for clarifying any questions I had regarding appointment, pre-op paperwork and follow ups.
