Since I took over care for my father, I was able to get to know Dr. Alvarez and the staff there at Azura. The staff is nice and helpful, I appreciate Dr. Alvarez, he make sure he listen to my concerns, answer any questions I may have and I trust him caring for my father. I really appreciate all the hard work that they do.
Dr Alvarez and staff are wonderful caring, and attentive. First time to this surgery center, very clean. Will return in 6 months with no hesitation. Thank you Azura Vascular Care
This was a horrific experience. I have a service dog who alerts me to necessary medication. When I arrived at the facility with my significant other I was told my service animal could not enter the facility. We were made to sit outside in 50 degree weather. I requested to see a manager. Alecia allowed me to come sit in an isolated part of the facility and came to tell me all about their policy. Their policy directly violates federal ADA Laws. She was so proud of her policy that she recited it and would not allow me to speak and continued to talk over me. I asked to speak to someone else who may be more familiar with ADA Law and she returned with her regional director Emily on the phone, who also recited their policy and continued to violate my rights. Ignorance of the law should not be acceptable. Furthermore, while demanding that my dog would endanger their sterile environment, I pointed out that there were two roaches crawling across the floor. ADA Law specifically allows service dogs to be in hospitals everywhere except in operating rooms. I am allowed to have him in any area where the public is allowed: waiting rooms and pre-surgical rooms, patient rooms and in recovery rooms.
The staff at Azura was very efficient and kind. Dr. Alvarez and nurses provided personal care and kept the patient and family members informed throughout the procedure.
The staff was excellent and Dr.Alvarez was great! Very friendly and it was a painless procedure. They all took great care of me.
They provide home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis options tailored to meet individual patient needs.
ECMO therapy is a life-support technique that provides cardiac and respiratory support to patients whose heart and lungs are unable to provide adequate gas exchange.
Patients can access therapeutic plasma exchange services through a referral from their physician, and their team will guide you through the process.
