The staff is great!! The Drs are great! But making an appointment at 8:15 and waiting over an hour for a less than 5 minute visit is absurd!! You book appointments 5 minutes apart but the steps until you actually see the Dr takes 20-40 minutes WHY??? You think our time is less valuable than yours???? Better rethink that policy as your customers pile up in the waiting room, each wondering what is taking so long?? Treat each of us the respect you expect us to give your staff!!
This place is shit. The wait you have wait to even be seen is ridiculous. Literally double booking apts for an extra bill. Let’s not forget about the ignorant nurses that ignore the patients when the patients are asking about the wait
Well organized. Good doctors. They were a little behind schedule the last time we visited.
If you enjoy waiting for long periods of time, well past your appointment, then this is the office for you. An appointment that should perhaps take around an hour to an hour and a half will most likely take you at least four hours. The waiting area will be completely overcrowded and noisy. Scheduling is usually a bit of a nightmare. It is quite obvious the administrative side of the office needs a total rework as to how their staff operates (who is available for what, how many jobs they are doing, when is appropriate to step away from the desk and when isn't, etc.). Their books also need a severe re-examination as well so that appointments are staggered more appropriately so there aren't such incredibly long wait times. It's bad enough to have anxiety, but then to have to sit for hours in an environment that's extremely challenging to that just compounds the issue. I wouldn't have an issue with all of this if it wasn't the case EVERY TIME I go in. Sure, every office will have a bad day, errors happen, but this is the norm and has been for years. Today I arrived for an 8:45 appointment and was told the doctor still wasn't even there yet, and there were 'many' patients ahead of me so on top of the probable two or so hours I was going to be there originally, it was going to be an additional approximate hour and a half. I do not and did not have the time to give up for that. Having said all of that, I do at least want to mention that once you are finally taken to the back the rest seems to go smoothly, the techs are wonderful, and the providers are professional while also taking the time to ensure you understand what their findings are and what the treatment options are. It's a shame to have to give up that quality of care because the administrative side of the office can't get itself together. After today, I will be seeking a different company/provider for my eye care.
We knew it was bad, but didn’t know how bad until we switched to another local retinal specialist who also treats wet macular degeneration. At Quantum, we waited anywhere from 2-4 hours to get through the process. Multiple elderly folks all stuffed into overcrowded waiting rooms, coughing and hacking with no ventilation. The back staff were well aware of poor upper management and miserable conditions and had to take the brunt of unhappy patients’ frustration. They did their best, but this is CLEARLY an upper management issue. Do better, Quantum. Your docs might be great, but not worth this kind of ridiculous process and wait. The doc Mom sees now is with another retinal group, extraordinary credentials and Mom is in and out within 20-45 minutes every time, start to finish. And they even have and take the time to explain things to her. Folks, don’t put up with Quantum’s poor practice model. It doesn’t have to be that way.
