Dr. Jessica Crouch examed my eyes, I am a former patient of Dr. Kontos. I feel she was very thorough and certainly glad I went in. She caught a issue that I never knew I had. That tells me she cares deeply for me. No rush, spent a lot of time with me, and answered all my concerns. Dr. Couch was up front with my diagnosis, and called in a referral to a specialist to exam for himself, and verify her findings. I certainly would refer her to anyone who needs a eye doctor, I say DO NOT PUT IT OFF FOR ONE MINUTE! She has convinced me Empire Eye has a very qualified staff.

I received excellent medical carea Empire Eye .Dr Croskrey and his staff were wondering and caring. That said the consultant Irena was polite and friendly when explaining the process. But totally miss represented my co-pay . I was told by Ms Irena that my cost after the insurance paid would $200. per eye .she neglected to say there would an additional $200 per eye for anesthesia. I received a call from Empire Eye billing company, Ali Mainayar two days for my last surgery . Stateing I need to pay the the $925. Before I received the last cataract surgery. To say that I was having price sticker shock is an understatement .considing I was told it would be $400. I immediately tried to contact Irena I lefr multiple messages and calls, which she did not return. I called Empire Eyes front office the day before surgery and was able to have staff transfer my call to Irena where she reiterated that's, yes I was to pay $200 per eye. But oh oh wait yeah there is an additional $200 per eye for anesthesia. That I later learned is standard procedure .Irena was well aware of that informations at the time she spoke with me on the first consult. She neglected to infor at the time I pacifically asked about my out of pocket expense . I should have been given an itemized statement prior to the the procedure. And at 72 you would think I would know better that to take someone's word and not get it in writing . I feel that Irena behavior was intentionally deceitful and not just negligence . So the day surgery I was highly stressed and must I would not recommend using the business to anyone!

Toward the end of March Empire Eye’s Dr. Christopher Sturbaum replaced my cataracts with light activated lenses. He has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries, so I knew I was in good hands. My surgery went well. Four weeks of healing later Empire Eye’s Dr. Ashlin Zarate began the process of using UV light to modify my lenses to give me the best vision possible. She was patient, careful, encouraging, and competent; now I have excellent distance vision in one eye, and excellent near vision in the other. I am thrilled with my lenses and the care I received at Empire Eye.

Casey Claypool, optometrist with Specialty in dry eye Syndrome and his assistant Cassie were thorough . He attends and teaches it at Continuing Education so is aware of newest treatments. After 3 years of various treatments he was aware of latest treatment. It worked! What a difference- first I could make natural tears rather than articulate tears in several years.

Amazing experience yesterday! I was sent from Wenatchee ti have cataract surgery and a multifical lens put in. I was greeted by a pleasant staff, the RN nurse was so calming and the anesthesiologist was very informative and nice. The laser tech was comforting and the Dr. Cantos met me in the surgery room. He was very gentle and explaining what was going to happen so I was no longer terrified. It went smooth and perfect. No pain and no complications. My overall experience was amazing and everyone was so caring from start to finish. Very professional facility, dpotless and friendly. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The staff and doctors here are excellent.
