This place seems more for the elderly. Odd smelling. I believe the eye doctor here is far too old to be working. He can't hear that good and can be rude when asking him a question Would not recommend sorry.
A very good and Professional Eye doctor who's been in the buiness a very long time and DIFFENTLY knows what he's doing..Takes Cigna Health spring insurance AND YOU CAN BUY YOUR GLASSES 🕶️ RIGHT ON SITE ÇOSTA AND OTHER TOP OF THE LINE PRODUCTS... not like your local Walmart or in and out Cheap place and the Cigna insurance credit is 250 for glasses 🕶️
Dr. Duncan and his staff took extreme care with my eye problems and after doing surgery on one of my eyes, I was very pleased with the results. Will be making another appointment for a surgery on my other eye this year to remove cataracts. Wonderful, caring folks there. No complaints.
Abosolutely terrible. I came and they assured me that they take VSP and gave me an appointment promptly. I came in and got my eyes checked and then Dr. Duncan tells me my eyes have improved to where my astigmatism is gone. Okay.... I was given a prescription for glasses and contacts, but my contacts prescription was about -.75 less strong than my glasses prescription and the contacts proved it when I wore them. I made another appointment and came back and was told to wear my contacts. On the second visit i wore my glasses and the Dr. decided to recheck my eyes. I hear him say my prescription became a little stronger and my astigmatism came back under his breath! He then tells me To put in my contacts and he will check the context for some reason. He pushed me in front of the machine that is supposed to help check the eyes and he started changing the strength the prescription like that was going to work and it did. He then tells me that if it did not work that way it was possible that there was nothing else he could do for me. I know that when glasses are done that way you can tell the difference and strength but when he did it to the contacts all it did was blur my vision. So I cannot understand how he thinks that worked. He kept trying to tell me that contacts are sponges and the reason why I probably can’t see a sign from 50 feet away is because contacts are not as good as glasses. The nurses kept telling me that maybe I was more concerned with how I look with Contacts versus the quality of my contacts. She then goes into state that they May have made the contacts less powerful because my astigmatism. Although the doctor himself said that my astigmatism was gone. But if they were to adjust my contacts for my astigmatism they would’ve made them stronger not weaker because that is what my previous doctor has done. None of this is making any sense. I kept stating that I might need to have a stronger prescription because my vision is blurry but they kept saying I was wrong.. So they give me a new pair of contacts and the diameter was bigger although they did fit better when I left I could not see a sign 50 feet away and that made me upset because I drive. I decide to talk to the lady at the glasses center about getting more contacts. That is when she informs me that they have never taken VSP at that center.... What? I scheduled an appointment at the center for sight and they did a wonderful job with assessing me my prescription is much stronger than what they gave me at this place my contacts fit in they are really concerned about my eye health. The new doctor even found that I had a retinal hole in my eye something that this doctor missed. So that saves me the hassle of trying to get this right with my insurance. I would not recommend going to ETEA. I feel he is way too old to continue practicing. And if they knew that my VSP was not going to be excepted I wish they would’ve told me instead of treating me in a circuitous fashion.
The worst place ever took almost 3 to 4 months to get my glasses. They called me about a week after asking if I needed my glasses asap well let me see reason I go to the eye doctor is to get glasses so I reply yes. Then when I call they give me an excuse that they are unable to leave messages but the number she reads back is not even mine. Well what does that say to me unorganized how is it that you called and left me messages before but now you've got a number now off by 1 number only sounds to me like excuses. Place is not worth going If your needing to get your glasses soon if your willing to wait half a year then yes by all means go for it. Will never take my business here again.
