Understaffing leads to discontent among employees..which creates patient wait times for needed medical and physical help Meals never included one piece of fresh fruit. Canned Mandarin oranges appeared twice in14 days. No hand wipes were ever on a meal tray. Eating with unclean hands is not hygienic, Cleaning was minimal. A dirty blanket remained under my bed for ten days. I was asked if I wanted a shower the day before my departure. Cricket thoroughly cleaned twice I chose not to include the video of the critter on the ceiling. Doctor and PA. The dr saw me once,the PA twice. Vitals were taken twice. Students from Coastal took them and read my temperature at 80 degrees and didn’t recognize an error. Oops Therapy… my orders were misread the first day . I was not to lift with my injured arm. I was left in a wheelchair facing a wall without access to a call button. . The other therapists were fantastic….got me ready to leave in about 12 days. They were encouraging, patient and caring. I would give that team a 4.5 Price assessment Overpriced 

As a family member who has a sister who was a resident @ Diversicare I feel compelled to share our profoundly positive experience. The moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and compassion. It was immediately clear that this facility was not just a place for individuals to reside, but a community that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of its residents. From the attentive staff to the engaging activities offered, every aspect of care has been thoughtfully designed. The nursing staff is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring. They take the time to know each resident personally, ensuring that their individual needs and preferences are met. It brings us immense peace of mind to see our loved one treated with such respect and dignity. The facility itself is bright and welcoming, featuring comfortable living spaces that feel like home. The communal areas encourage social interaction, fostering friendships among residents. The activities organized—ranging from arts and crafts to exercise classes—are not only enjoyable but also promote physical and mental well-being. Moreover, communication between the staff and family members is exemplary. We are kept informed about our loved one’s health and progress, and the staff is always available to answer questions or address concerns. This openness has created a sense of trust that is invaluable during this emotional time. In conclusion, our experience at Diversicare has been nothing short of exceptional. The combination of professional care, a nurturing environment, and strong communication has made this transition easier for us and our family member. We are truly grateful for the dedicated team that goes above and beyond to provide such commendable service. 
