Diversicare - Montgomery

Diversicare in Montgomery put my mother at serious. Action will be taken! We had to call 911 ourselves to get her back to the hospital, where she was admitted for heart failure symptoms. The only nurse on duty (in the building) said nothing was wrong She showed clear signs of congestive heart failure (fluid in lungs, severe swelling, shortness of breath, extreme weakness).. There was no physician present. Staff then tried to make me sign a blank AMA discharge form with no doctor signature or witnesses. I refused. This was a complete failure of care, judgment, and basic patient safety. Families should be extremely cautious. 0:16 0:05 

The entire team at Diversicare made the experience with our mother a manageable one. The staff at the front desk, nurses, and nutritionist were all very kind and communicated with our family to help us understand the overall care plan. We appreciate their professionalism and attentiveness. 

This is a horrible facility. They had a covid outbreak around the holidays and didn’t let anyone know until you reached the hallway. Mom had covid and no nurse called to let me know that she had it. Never any CNA present on the floor, the food is also cold. The administrators are terrible people and only care for themselves and not the safety of their residents. They have nurses working the floor because they are always so short of aides. They don’t understand bow crucial it is to have CNA’s on the floor but that is most facilities. Not Only Does That Affect The CNA you have it also is neglect to the Residents including my mother sat in poop for hours because there was only 2 CNA’s on the floor. Quintella, Larry, Connie and the other people in charge needs to be FIRED and their business license revoked. Price assessment Overpriced 
