Baylor Surgicare At Garland

This surgical center is the worst I have ever been to. The staff is extremely rude. They won’t allow a family member to be with the patient until the go in for the procedure and the condescending way they talk to you is absolutely ridiculous. I have officially been here three times. Twice for myself and now once for my husband. I will not return here again. If the doctor I work with says this is the place they will do it I will change doctors because I will not be treated like this again.

Always wanted to write this, for almost 15 years. My mom arrived to the ER bleeding from somewhere. She passed out in the bathroom, which my brother and I were never told. We were also never told that she has to be resuscitated. They put her into a coma, and for 2 days, they delayed tests until her organs cleared. They did not tests to determine from where she was bleeding. Exactly 2.5 days later, they could not wake her up. She essentially was bleeding in her brain. Had they not delayed doing tests, they might have caught this. My brother and I should have filed a lawsuit. We are now beyond the time limit, but my mom did not receive good care. In fact, I don't know that she got any care. It was recorded that she died of natural causes. If you would call doctors and nurses natural, then yes, I would agree.

George Bush Hwy The healthcare providers there are great but the office manager and billing department are really, really bad about not returning phone calls. I have been working with both the billing department and office manager about an overpayment on my account (of nearly $1,400.00) for either a refund to me or a credit back to my Care Credit account. I have left multiple messages for each on their respective voicemail boxes over the past couple of weeks to get an update and have not received a call back from either one. It's unacceptable and unreasonable all at the same time, not to mention extremely frustrating. I will do everything I can to avoid having to use this facility for any procedure or service in the future once this has been resolved if given a choice. Your milage may vary but mine has been unpleasant so definitely hold this into consideration when choosing a facility for a necessary procedure.

Excellent experience. Colonoscopy done. They were friendly,fast and efficient.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGICAL CENTER! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any medical staff. Anyone from the second you walk in, is absolutely condescending and rude and has horrible bedside manner. The nurses were talking trash about other patients while they thought I was asleep. They were man handing me when I was barely even awake. They didn’t let me actually wake up after the surgery and recover before going home (the surgeon told me I would have multiple hours of recover time). The nurse point blank said that they need the bed for another patient even though at that time there was no one else in the area. I can go on and on. Paying $5000 to be treated like absolute trash is ridiculous. Please listen to this and never come here. PS look through my other reviews and you’ll see that I review any place I go and I’m always honest about my experience. I’ve ever had such a horrible medical experience.
