This review is specifically for the billing department of this hospital. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been extremely unpleasant. My wife was referred here by our doctor for a procedure, and we were told that the hospital would verify our insurance coverage before the appointment. However, no one ever reached out to confirm our insurance details. On the day of the procedure, they checked our insurance card and charged $200 upfront, without informing us of any additional costs. A month later, we received a bill for $2,300, even though we are insured. When we called to clarify, the representative was very rude, stating that since the procedure was already completed, we were responsible for the full payment—and then hung up on us. If the hospital was out of network, we should have been informed beforehand so we could choose an in-network facility. This lack of transparency and poor communication is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hospital due to their unprofessional billing practices.

If I could change the rating, I would make it 20 stars and not five stars. This group of nurses and doctors were outstanding. My husband had a procedure there this morning, and I do not have an adequate way to acurately depict the care and concern exhibited to him. Amazing jobs, keep up the good work! Would highly recommend!

I don’t typically leave reviews, and I noticed this place has a lot of five-star ratings. But my experience was the exact opposite, and I feel it’s important to share — not for sympathy, but to bring awareness to how this facility handled a medically necessary procedure with carelessness and a lack of integrity. I was scheduled for a procedure at Baylor Surgicare of Mansfield and followed every instruction I was given. I completed consultations, filled prescriptions, prepared as directed, and made all the necessary arrangements for surgery day. What I didn’t receive was any real communication from their office. From the time my surgery was scheduled up until the week before, there was no outreach regarding what I needed to take care of on the financial side. Then, out of nowhere, I got a billing email and a missed call , no voicemail, no explanation, no follow-up. I spent the next several days trying to get answers, calling repeatedly and being met with full mailboxes, being transferred, or getting no return call. The day before my procedure, I finally spoke with someone. I explained my situation clearly, including what I was able to do and when. She said she would check with her office manager and get back to me that same day. She never called back. Still, I followed through with my preparation everything I was told to do and showed up for my surgery on time and ready. But instead of being cared for, I was turned away. No effort to clarify, no discussion, just a firm refusal based on a payment expectation that had never been properly communicated to me. I later contacted my doctor’s office to share what had happened. When they followed up with Baylor, the story they were told was incomplete at best and did not reflect the truth of how things played out. Whether it was omission or misrepresentation, it was deeply unsettling especially coming from a medical facility. At first, I wasn’t even angry. I just wanted to be rescheduled. But realizing that someone didn’t just drop the ball, but then tried to rewrite what actually happened, is what truly upset me. Where does the care begin, if not with honesty and basic professionalism? It was incredibly violating to be treated like my health didn’t matter because someone else failed to do their part and didn’t want to own it. If you’re considering this facility and expecting clear communication, compassion, or responsibility, manage your expectations. What I experienced felt negligent and disheartening. I followed every instruction I was given and still ended up being denied care not for refusing anything, but for trusting that they’d handle their role with the same care and respect I gave mine. Zero stars from me.

Phenomenal experience. Visited for a diagnostic procedure and the staff and efficiency was the best of experienced at any type of outpatient center. Highly recommended if you have a choice

I love this place. I live so far from it but my pain Dr gives back shots there. I was get put to sleep because I hate the feeling of the pressure and I have a high tolerance for pain lol. My heart was weaker than ever yesterday and they would not put me to sleep or give me too much sedation. Even before yesterday they always took care of me. But me having to stay aways during the procedure. They almost had to hold my hand. Dr Greg the anesthesia Dr. administering the versed was the greatest and stood her ground. She would not give me more than what was safe. But let me transfer my pain to her. I kind of think its because the way she stood and looked at me like she would slap me to sleep. I promise you it was for my benefit if she did. And I think she loved me that much if it came down to do that, she would have for me. They are overall the best!!!!
