This was my first visit to this location, and I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received. From the moment I signed in, everything was handled promptly and professionally. I was called back quickly, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The doctor provided a thorough examination and took the time to address my concerns. At the end of my visit, the technician carefully reviewed my prescription and ensured I understood everything before I left. Overall, everyone I encountered was great, and the entire experience was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning for future visits.

Dr. Davis provided excellent care with his evaluation of my eye for injury after a bad fall. Dr. Davis’s evaluation was thorough ! Explanations were provided, directions established should there be a lapse in the healing of the area around my eye, clarification was made where requested and a follow up appointment to assure that the eye recovery is complete. It is tough for providers to deal with the time constraints demanded by the current structure of medical insurance companies. I was seen by Dr. Davis one week following a fall down half a flight of stairs which left my face considerably swollen, seriously bruised and with concern that my right eye may have sustained injury as that was the area that took the brunt of my fall. The provider accepted my medicare advantage health plan from out-of-state which in itself was miraculous. When I did contact Mid Atlantic Eye Care for an appointment they worked me into the schedule immediately that day !! I went into the appointment with the understanding that in order for a provider to accept health plans like mine it requires a lot of work on the providers part. Therefore the current day protocol of time efficiency is an absolute. At intake I was asked to respond with or The nurse expressed concern that although she was pulled away to assist a staff member for what was likely less than a minute that she did not want me to think she was comfortable getting pulled out and particularly misrepresent her heartfelt desire that the patient be treated with respect and utmost care. That was refreshing !! The usual eye dilation and imaging were handled well by staff before I was called back to be seen by the doctor. Mid Atlantic Eye Care operated like a well oiled engine ~ near flawless. Right down to the receptionists at the entrance and check out. Upon checking out I realized that I had one remaining question. The check out staff member said “no problem.” The staff notated my question, stated that question would be directed to the doctor and I would receive a phone call. That phone call was received and promptly. I cannot express the extent of my appreciation for the care I was provided !!

I've been going to AVI for a few years. The eye exams are thorough. My most recent eyeglass prescription for transition lenses needed to be redone after a few weeks of wearing the new glasses. From the optical shop to seeing the doctor for the adjustment, I was listened to and informed about what was being done. I'd recommend them for both eye exams and glasses.

I always feel comfortable with all the procedures because of the care each person in the office exhibits. Everyone explains and answers all facets of the visit. That makes me feel at ease from the moment I walk in to the nurse escorting me to the desk where I finish my visit. Thank you to all involved in making a possible stressful visit so calming and complete.

I only had to have an injury to my eye checked for healing progress. Waiting room was extremely crowded but it finally cleared. I was last to be helped but all were very pleasant. The receptionist was doing work for two. Still very pleasant. Maybe she could use some help!
